Christina's sound walk

Start inside Jester City Limits where you get your food. Listen for a minute. Go through the cashiers through to the eating area. Pause for a minute, make your way out to the hallway and listen as you walk out to the exit towards Jester East. Walk outside to Jester East. Pause for a couple minutes as you listen to what's going on in the court yard outside. Enter Jester East. Walk past the reception desk into the TV common room. Listen to the people in the lobby. Walk towards the elevator, and wait for an elevator. Select a floor and wait at the entrance to the floor for a couple of minutes. Someone will let you into the hallways with the dorms. Walk up and down the hallways. Listen to the sounds coming from the rooms. Exit Jester.

  1. Since I didn't spend my freshman year here at UT, I haven't been in Jester that many times. I was surprised by the large quantities of sounds I noticed. In Jester City Limits I got to hear people talking, typing on their computers, and eating. There was also an annoying sound coming from one of the lights from the ceiling. Walking by the cashiers I could hear the amounts being called off and people saying how they were going to pay. I could also hear the drink refrigerators and a far away sound of a TV or radio. Down the hallway I could hear footsteps and people talking really loudly. In Jester East I could hear the wind rustling the leaves of the trees, more people talking, someone biking along, and the faraway sound of the tower bell. In the TV common room I could hear someone watching a reality TV show and people talking and someone listening to music from their laptop. Walking towards the elevator I heard my footsteps, more people talking, the sound of doors closing and opening and the elevator coming down. I chose the 3rd floor and got off the elevator and heard the muffled sound of people talking, a microwave, and people walking down the hall. Walking down the hallways, I could hear TVs, people talking, someone playing a violin, and the sounds of doors opening and closing.
